Professor of Affective Neuroscience and Neurotechnology, and Principal investigator of the Clinical and Affective Neuroscience Lab (Cli.A.N. Lab), at DipSCo - Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences & CISMed - Center for Medical Sciences, of the University of Trento.
I have a background in Affective Neuroscience and in Psychotherapy. My research interests combine these two fields, and range from the study of the brain mechanisms behind normal and abnormal emotional processing, to the development of new treatment protocols to address psychological disorders.
“Hardwired to connect with each other, we do so through emotions. Our brains, bodies and minds are inseparable from the emotions that animate them" (Fosha, Siegel, & Solomon, 2009)
